Norway Designs NOW Vol. 4 SUM

In Norway Designs NÅ Vol. 4 – SUM, we show collections from eight collaborative projects between Norwegian designers and manufacturers. In some of the collaborative projects, such as between Hasla and Sara Skotte and Opro and Ditte Alstad , both parties have acted as both designers and producers, while in others the designers have designed and the producer has put the product into reality.

With SUM, we want to continue the work Per Tannum did for Norwegian design; to be a driving force and create a point of contact where Norwegian manufacturers and designers can find the tone and create new good design together. By creating more products that are both designed and produced in Norway, we want to contribute to maintaining the Norwegian industry and craft tradition. A product has no value unless it is bought and used. Therefore, we hope that Norway Designs NOW can also contribute to the fact that customers will see the value in knowing where the products they buy come from.
The exhibition series Norway Designs NÅ is a collaborative project with Norwegian Craftsmen and the Club.
