Rangthong

Rangthong is a collection of handmade stainless steel cutlery designed in the 1970s by Jaivid Rangthong. He drew inspiration from old craft traditions and tools that farmers in the Thai countryside had used for centuries. Today, the cutlery is still handmade in Thailand, and each piece of cutlery is forged from a single piece of steel according to the same Thai craft traditions. The cutlery is also a social project where families in Thailand are responsible for the production of the various parts and specialize in producing a special knife or a type of spoon. In 1984, the Rangthong cutlery became part of the collections at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Each object has an engraved Rangthong mark which gives you a guarantee of authenticity and materials of the best quality.
