El Casco is a Spanish brand that designs and manufactures luxury office supplies. El Casco was founded on 7 September 1920 under the name Orbea SRC They initially sold weapons, and when the two employees Juan Solozabal Mendive and Juan Olave Bilbao took over the company, they produced, among other things, a revolver with the name El Casco. El Casco later became the company's brand name, and the products were known to be of particularly good quality. In 1932, the first office articles arrived, including the M-5 stapler. The office supplies quickly became a huge success in Spain, and El Casco continued to design and manufacture office supplies such as pencil sharpeners, hole punches and letter weights. After the civil war in Spain, El Casco gained almost iconic status, and today the products are sold in over 40 countries.
