Many skilled people manage traditional crafts. By interpreting traditions, methods and techniques, they see new opportunities for continuing the craft. Craftsmanship is also design, with function and aesthetics as important pillars. Cooperation and exchange between different professional groups is important. Håndverk+ should be such a meeting place. The participating designers are looking forward to experiencing the authentic, trying out materials and techniques in various crafts. At the same time, they will share their knowledge of form, profile and market. - By connecting the professional groups together, we want to facilitate collaboration that can result in good and salable products, says Kirsten Visdal.

The vision is for Håndverk+ to be the leading meeting place between craftsmen and designers in Norway, where some of the country's leading practitioners meet manufacturers and creative partners.
