Create simple paper art for the wall

Jan 01, 2016Neshat Golparvar

With autumn also comes the urge to change and redo. With this simple recipe, you have created a new picture for the wall in no time.

YOU NEED:
- 2 x 210 gr straw fiber paper cut into 1 cm strips. One for strips and one for the background.
You can cut the strips here in the shop. We assist if you are unsure. Remember that the background must be cut to fit your frame.
- Scalpel / scissors if you are not going to cut with us then.
- A frame

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:
1. Braid the strips every other above and below as in the picture to the desired size. The frame we have used is A3, but if you have another size lying around at home, you can use it.
2. When you have finished braiding, fold the edge of the strips around the background and tape them firmly.
3. Place the new artwork into the frame and hang or display it!
