Dining knife in the Skaugum cutlery series. An elegant classic Norwegian cutlery produced at Geilo.

Skaugum Bestikkfabrikk has made its cutlery by hand since 1943 in the factory in Geilo. The plastic shafts are molded while the wooden shafts are sawn and milled. Each part is sharpened, polished and drilled by hand on machines from another era. The cutlery which was initially called "Märtha" had to change its name and the chairman of the board, Milorghelten Jens Christian Hauge called his friend King Haakon, who approved that the name "Skaugum" be used.
