Rasu ankle socks are made from a cotton blend in the classic Unikko pattern.

Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was created in 1964 at a time when the design house's collections mostly contained abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting in an organic theme and designed a whole range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.

Around one million meters of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
