Lower Foss Moon Three Barrel Ash

Måne is made of ash and what is special is that it is made of one whole piece without any joints. Ash has dramatic "drawings" in the wood and each bowl is like a unique picture.

It is inserted with a vegetable-based oil wax from Swedish Osmo. (Osmo TopOil 3068). The oil wax is 100% food safe and approved for use on children's toys. After several years of use, the bowl can be reinserted with the same type of oil wax.

The dish is perfect for fruit, vegetables, dry baked goods and possibly a bowl to hold things and tongs in.

 * It is not recommended for use with moist foods such as salads, porridge or similar. *

Nedre Foss was started by the design duo Anderssen & Voll in 2009. The core of Nedre Foss' design is the term "Century Product" and what they refer to as utility sculpture. By this is meant objects that will serve you for at least 100 years, and where the sculptural properties on the one hand and the aspect of use on the other are equal parts of the function. It may not need to be mentioned that quality and longevity also play a large role in product development for Nedre Foss.
