Bertil Vallien's boat sculpture "Secret Bar" has a long and oval shape with several exciting symbols and colorful details.
The head shape is a recurring feature in Bertil Vallien's art and has been with him since the 50s. In this sculpture, the head is lying with the gaze turned upwards. It has a lovely orange color that is visible from several angles. A red ladder falls out from the mouth, a shape that can symbolize a ladder to heaven.
The boat has an exciting play of colors that changes depending on where the viewer is standing and has a great wealth of detail. Thin silver foil covers parts of the outside of the boat.
The boat rests on a foundation of stone and gives the boat an elegant floating expression.
