Røros Tweed Ida Cushion Red Shades

Kr 1.200

Pillow in the Ida pattern with removable cover and down pillow that comes with it.

Ida is a cushion with fabric woven in the technique Jaquard weave. The pattern draws inspiration from rye and handmade patchwork.

Initially, Andersen & Voll made a full-scale model of the pattern on colored paper, and small irregularities from the paper model were preserved on the woven fabric.

Eight colors balance each other perfectly in the pattern, which is also available as a blanket and in 2 other color variants.

* Includes 100% down pillow

With origins dating back to the 18th century, Røros Tweed makes fantastic quality woolen blankets in the factory located 600 meters above sea level. The large factory started up in 1952 and before that many of the products were made at home by the residents of Røros. Since then, Røros Tweed has experimented with Norwegian wool and developed textile products of high quality and good design. They have collaborated with several Norwegian designers to create a modern design that continues to be inspired by Røro's aesthetic and cultural heritage.
