The COMET design was created in 1979 by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who for many years as head of Georg Jensen Damask was also the driving force in the design development. The graphic pattern is based on a classic stripe that runs like a red thread through the damask collection and can be found in different interpretations. Here in an edition where the width of the vertical blue and white stripes alternates and together with the weaving creates a beautiful dynamic in the design.
