Beautiful table runner with an iconic motif, which celebrates Christmas as the feast of the heart and is an admired signature design in the damask collection.
The runner can be used directly on the table or over a white damask tablecloth for a more solemn expression - and is now available in the most beautiful gray colour.
In Winter Grey, the runner gets a particularly elegant expression, when the fine gray shades of the winter sky meet in the iconic design. The color forms a great base for Christmas decorations in all kinds of designs and shades, from natural materials, snow-white tones and golden brass to this year's trend colour. Matching fabric napkins complete the expression.
The motif on the table runner was designed by Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was part of the inner circle of textile artists around Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s, and who is also behind the classic Easter design from the same period.
For more than 40 years, the braided Christmas hearts and stylized fir branches have been synonymous with Christmas spirit, and the design is an indispensable part of Christmas in many homes.
