Georg Jensen Damask Christmas Runner 50x140 cm Deep Red
The runner with the iconic Christmas motif, with its symbolic representation of Christmas as the feast of the heart, is a nostalgic signature design in the damask collection.
The motif was designed by Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was part of the inner circle of textile artists around Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s.
The runner can be used directly on the table or over a white damask tablecloth for a more solemn expression.
The braided Christmas hearts and stylized fir branches have been synonymous with Christmas celebrations for more than 40 years. The dark red variant is woven in tone-on-tone shades in the iconic color of Christmas, and gives the pieces a simple, classic and stylish presentation. Wash at 60°C. Be sure to unfold the runner completely before putting it in the machine. Do not overfill the machine. Stretches easily after washing. Do not tumble dry. White damask textiles can be washed at 95°C.
