Washing instructions: 60°C. Tip: We recommend that you unfold the product completely before washing and that you avoid overfilling the machine. The product is easily stretched after washing. We recommend drying the dining tray hanging, as this gives a smoother result. Remember to follow the washing instructions, as washing at 60 °C causes the cotton fibers to open and the product becomes completely clean. Many people think they protect the cutlery by washing at lower temperatures, but the products are made to withstand high temperatures
The iconic motif on the table runner celebrates Christmas as the feast of the heart, and is a nostalgic signature design in the damask collection. The runner can be used directly on the table, or over a white damask tablecloth for a more solemn expression.
The motif was designed by Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was part of the inner circle of textile artists around Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s. She is also behind the classic Easter design from the same period. The braided Christmas hearts and stylized fir branches have been synonymous with Christmas celebrations for more than 40 years. In many homes, the design is an indispensable part of Christmas.
