Jiro Shirt Linen

Kr 2.595

Jiro Shirt Linen is a minimalist shirt with a natural and elegant fit. The sleeves have a wide cuff that is easy to roll up, two patch pockets on the chest, are rounded at the bottom and are longer at the back than at the front.

The shirt is produced in European linen woven in a mix of colored and undyed yarn which gives a beautiful mottled effect in the airy fabric.

The linen used in the skirt is certified European Flax linen. Linen is a sustainable material that leaves a small footprint. The flax plant is both pest and drought resistant and therefore needs little supplementation and plant protection to grow.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.
