At Thursday's Christmas opening, we had a visit from the creative designers from Josefin Johansson Studio. They have filled the shop with Himmeli made from straws. Would you like to make your own? Here you will find step by step instructions. We have straws and thread in the shop!
THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED:-Scissors
-Straw
-Cord
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO:
Step 1: Use 12 straws. You can either use as is or cut into 12 equally long pieces.
Step 2: Use a long thread and thread on 3 straws and tie them together to form a triangle.
Step 3: Thread on 2 more straws and attach them to the corner of the first triangle so that a new triangle is formed.
Step 4: Repeat until you have 5 triangles.
Step 5: When you thread on the last straw, tie the end thread from the last straw together with the thread on triangle 1.
Step 6: Then tie the two "loose" edges together, and suddenly you have a decorative sky!
