Vieno Unikko Shoulder Bag

The Vieno shoulder bag is made from soft nappa leather that develops a beautiful patina over time. The bag features the iconic Unikko pattern embossed into the leather, a zip closure, and a detachable and adjustable leather shoulder strap. Inside, the bag is lined and has a practical zip pocket.

The main material consists of 100% leather, while the lining is made from 100% recycled polyester.

Marimekko's famous poppy pattern Unikko was created in 1964 at a time when the design house's collections largely featured abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting within an organic theme and designed a whole range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.

Marimekko is a Finnish design house that is recognized worldwide for its original prints and colors. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko is one of the world's first true lifestyle brands, combining fashion, bags, and accessories, as well as interior design, in a timeless, sustainable, and functional style. The heart and soul of Marimekko's design is their own textile factory in Helsinki, where the bold patterns and colors come to life. Around one million meters of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
