Vase Planet Stoneware Terracotta

Hand-formed vase in terracotta-coloured stoneware clay.

The vase is glazed on the inside, making it watertight. Nevertheless, it may be advisable to place felt pads or similar under the vase if you plan to keep it filled with water for extended periods.

Karin Amdal is a trained Art Director and holds a Master of Design and Diploma of Ceramic Art. Karin has lived in New Zealand for many years, but her upbringing in Norway has had a great influence on her aesthetic. She works with simple shapes and incorporates sand from both New Zealand and Norway into the objects, to achieve a more subtle tone and texture to the surfaces. Each piece is individually built by hand.
