So nice to see you vase is a hand-shaped vase in terracotta-colored stoneware clay.

The vase is glazed on the inside, making it watertight. However, it may be a good idea to place felt pads or similar under the vase if you plan to leave it with water for extended periods.

Karin Amdal is a trained Art Director and holds a Master of Design and Diploma of Ceramic Art. Karin has lived in New Zealand for many years, but her upbringing in Norway has had a great influence on her aesthetic. She works with simple shapes and incorporates sand from both New Zealand and Norway into the objects, to achieve a more subtle tone and texture to the surfaces. Each piece is individually built by hand.
