This model takes its name from the island of Runde outside Ålesund. Runde is home to the largest seabird colony in Scandinavia. The island is also known as “Treasure Island” because of the discovery of gold and silver coins from the wreck of the Akerendam, a Dutch ship that sank in 1725.

This model features a blue dial with a sunburst finish. The sunburst effect causes the colour to change depending on the light.

The Runde is powered by a Ronda 1069 quartz movement with 4 jewels, offering excellent accuracy and requiring minimal maintenance.

Von Doren is a Norwegian watch brand founded by Øyvind VonDoren Asbjørnsen in 2016. His watches stand out because they are designed from the ground up. Every detail, from the case and crystal to the dial and hands, is carefully designed to give Von Doren watches their distinctive character.

The process begins with a detailed sketch, where each element is carefully considered to create a harmonious overall design. The sketch is then developed into a detailed 3D model, which not only visualises the design but also ensures that the watch sits comfortably on the wrist.

Von Doren’s timeless watches are made to a high standard and inspired by Norwegian nature and history. All watches are designed by Von Doren in Norway and use exclusively Swiss movements.
