Kati Niemi is a family-owned Finnish company with a history of
from the 1940s. Grandfather Alpo, who was a carpenter, was also good at making hat blocks. Word spread about him and eventually his son Jorma started selling the blocks to both private customers and hat shops.

In 1981, Jorma traveled to Itala to look for hat makers and at the same time established the company Kati Niemi. The entire family has participated in the family business, and in 2008, his daughter Kati took over the operation.

Kati Niemi wants hats to be worn by everyone, whether you want a simple cap or a more sophisticated version. All hats are made in Italy and Poland. They have a high focus on quality, both in the choice of material and in production.
