Founded in 1951 by visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko was one of the world’s first true lifestyle brands, bringing together fashion, bags and accessories, and home furnishings in timeless, sustainable and functional designs.

At the heart and soul of Marimekko’s design is its own textile printing factory in Helsinki, where the brand’s bold patterns and colours come to life. Around one million metres of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
