Founded in 1951 by visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko was one of the world’s first true lifestyle brands, bringing together fashion, bags and accessories, and home interiors through timeless, sustainable and functional design.

At the heart of Marimekko’s design is its own textile printing factory in Helsinki, where its bold patterns and colours come to life. Around one million metres of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
