Sunniva Juhls explains that the design is influenced by her father's architecture and both of her parents' use of mosaic stones in their work. The result is a piece of jewellery that combines form and depth of materials, deeply rooted in the family's artistic heritage.

Juhls Sølvsmie has been based in Kautokeino on the Finnmark plateau since 1959 and was the first silver jewellery workshop in Finnmark. Driven by a genuine desire to create beautiful things and an unwavering joy of working, the Juhls family has expressed their creativity through various forms of craftsmanship and art. Jewellery making has always been at the heart of their work.

Every piece of jewellery from Juhls Sølvsmie is handcrafted in their workshop in Kautokeino.
