Johanne cardigan is designed by Oleana in collaboration with Edda Gimnes. Johanne cardigan breathes new life into the classic Oleana floral pattern through Edda Gimnes' artistic eye. With large, graphic flowers and a slightly boxy silhouette, the feminine expression is balanced with a modern shape.

Knitted in a luxurious blend of 75% merino wool and 25% silk, the cardigan has a relaxed and soft feel, while carrying refined details. The cardigan also has removable shoulder pads, so you can easily adapt the silhouette to your style and occasion. No two sides of the garment are the same - the pattern changes around the entire jacket, which makes the production extra complex. An oversized, wavy edge is hand-linked and gives a delicate artisanal expression. Large, glassy buttons give the jacket a distinctive and elegant touch.

Oleana is a family company founded in 1992 by Signe Aarhus, Hildegunn Møster and Kolbjørn Valestrand, with the aim of creating new jobs within the textile industry in Norway. It is important for them to keep production in Norway in order to preserve traditions and knowledge. Norway has a long and rich tradition in textile production and patterned knitting in wool. Oleana's entire collection is produced in their own factory in Norway.

Wool is self-cleaning, and can often be aired instead of washed. Stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth. Wash at 30 degrees or dry clean, then follow the instructions on the garment.
