Evig 01 Serving Tray Oak w/Brass

Kr 3.000

A serving tray handcrafted from reclaimed, knot-free oak, with a history that lives on. The wood comes from a floor removed during a house renovation, and has been given new life through careful craftsmanship.

The marks in the wood – traces of time, use, and life – are not hidden, but highlighted. Nail holes and other impressions are filled with brass, which provides a subtle sheen and makes each tray unique.

The serving tray is perfect for entertaining guests, serving a good cup of coffee, or enjoying a delightful breakfast in bed.

The tray is designed and handcrafted in Oslo, and bears the hallmarks of both the material's origin and the artisan's work.

Everything has been something before, everything can become something again. evig gives new life to the old and used. In a time when things are discarded before they can leave their mark, evig highlights what still has power within it.

Behind Evig is Jesper Mågerøy - a trained photographer and architect, with a strong love for the simple, functional and timeless. Having grown up in an environment where creativity and joy of creation were central, he has always seen the value in refining what already exists.
