Bjørklund Kvitfjell Universal Cheese grater Steel

Kr 300

Cheese grater with a brushed ergonomic steel handle with a cheese grater blade with a glossy textured polished surface.

It is the arena from the 1994 Olympic Games that inspired the name. Polished ski slopes from the mountain down to the valley floor. Every year, Kvitfjell hosts the Alpine World Cup. On the prize table there is a set from Bjørklund for the best athletes.

Thor Bjørklund from Lillehammer invented and obtained a patent for the cheese grater in 1925. Gudbrandsdal Industrier AS (GIAX) is today the owner of the Bjørklund brand and has its production in Ringebu.

With the new surface treatment Amitto, developed by Bjørklund, the cheese does not stick to the blade. The shafts are designed to be good to hold, while at the same time they look good. They are made of a plastic material, and are therefore well suited for the dishwasher.
