Abild is a classic dish towel with harmonious stripes as a supporting design element. The dish towel is woven in a strong linen and cotton blend that provides optimal drying properties. The towel comes in many nice color combinations and is nice to combine with the towel 1959 and the kitchen towel Nors - also from Georg Jensen Damask.

For designer and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, combining quality, function and design was a virtue and he was at the forefront of Georg Jensen Damask for many years. The Abild dish towel, one of his most famous products, is woven from 50% linen and 50% cotton. The design is elegant on its own or in combination with plain dish towels or kitchen towels.

  • Dimensions:50 x 80 cm. The measurements are after washing.
  • Wash at 60°C.
  • For the colored products, detergent for colored textiles without bleach is recommended to preserve the product's colors as best as possible.
  • Before using the product for the first time, it is recommended that you soak it in cold water for approx. 24 hours. This causes the fibers to straighten and ensures high drying performance from the start.
  • Unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine as it produces a smoother product.
  • We recommend hanging the product to dry.
  • If you want a smooth and shiny look, ironing is recommended.
