The Silmälasikukkaro purse is made of cotton in the Pikkuinen Unikko pattern. The rectangular purse has a metal frame that is easy to open and close with a click.

Unikko, which symbolizes creativity, was created at a time when floral patterns were hardly found in Marimekko's collections. However, Maija Isola was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create a whole series of innovative floral patterns.

Little Unikko

Marimekko is a Finnish design house that is recognized worldwide for its original prints and colors. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko is one of the world's first true lifestyle brands that combines fashion, bags and accessories as well as interiors in a timeless, sustainable and functional design. The heart and soul of Marimekko's designs is their own textile factory in Helsinki, where the bold patterns and colors come to life. Around one million meters of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
