Pauline Jacket Mustard

Kr 5.490

Designed by Oleana in collaboration with Edda Gimnes, and inspired by one of Edda's most sought-after jackets, the Pauline jacket is a timeless piece in the wardrobe.

Knitted in 100% merino wool, it is characterised by its unique buttons and pockets. Inspired by a visual technique Edda uses in each collection, the buttons and pockets create a playful trompe l'œil effect – an illusion of something appearing to be there without being – giving the garment a subtle artistic quality. Both are digitally printed with fine detail.

The jacket has defined shoulders with removable shoulder pads, which create a sophisticated yet flexible and comfortable fit. It combines a formal look with good freedom of movement, and the boxy shape creates a slim, feminine silhouette.

Oleana is a family company founded in 1992 by Signe Aarhus, Hildegunn Møster and Kolbjørn Valestrand, with the aim of creating new jobs within the textile industry in Norway. It is important for them to keep production in Norway in order to preserve traditions and knowledge. Norway has a long and rich tradition in textile production and patterned knitting in wool. Oleana's entire collection is produced in their own factory in Norway.
