Skrea is a towel inspired by what made Pelle Vävare a renowned and beloved brand for decades. The towel is made of high quality, with extra thick and soft terry cloth that develops excellent absorbent properties after a few washes.

Pelle Vävare was founded by Per-Olof Almqvist (b. 1934), who grew up in Borås – the heart of the Swedish textile industry. After several years in the industry, he started his own collection of upholstery fabrics, which quickly became a success.

The big breakthrough came when he took over a textile factory in Kinnahult and introduced a completely new terry material to the Swedish market – soft, lustrous, and with a velvety feel that set a new standard for quality. This was launched under the name Pelle Vävare.

Today, the characteristic terry material is still at the core of the brand, used in both bathrobes and towels. The company is now led by Lisa Basilius, with a clear ambition to continue the legacy of uncompromising quality and textile feel.
