Inspired by the majestic phenomenon of the Aurora Borealis, Runde Nordic Light captures the magic of the Northern Lights in a timeless and elegant design. The watch combines Scandinavian minimalism with details inspired by the play of colors of the Northern Lights. The small stars on the dial are coated with lume, so they glow faintly in the dark.

The Runde is powered by the Ronda 1069 4-jewel quartz movement, which provides exceptional accuracy and requires minimal maintenance. The lid on the back of the watch is engraved like a Ducat from the Rundeskatten (Round Treasure).

The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is nature's own light show. Shimmering waves of green, violet and blue dance across the Nordic sky. Sometimes seen far south of the Arctic Circle, it reminds us that beauty and light can appear when we least expect it, even on the darkest nights.

Von Doren is a Norwegian watch brand, founded by Øyvind VonDoren Asbjørnsen in 2016. His wristwatches are distinguished by the fact that he has designed the watches from scratch. Every detail, from the case and glass to the dial and hands, is carefully crafted to give them the unique character of Von Doren watches.

The process begins with a thorough sketch, where each element is carefully considered to ensure a harmonious whole. Following the sketch, a detailed 3D model is created, which not only visualizes the design, but also ensures that the watch fits perfectly on the wrist.

Von Doren timeless wristwatches are of high quality, inspired by Norwegian nature and history. All watches are designed by Von Doren in Norway and they only use Swiss movements.
