Silver earrings designed by Sunniva Juhls. The earrings move gently, following the contours of the face, and feature a combination of polished and brushed silver that creates an interesting surface texture.

Simple, sharp and strong shapes reflect the natural surroundings in which Sunniva Juhls grew up. In her jewellery, she allows winter to influence her design language. The long winter months in the north transform the landscape, covering the ground with a blanket of snow that remains for many months.

Together with the Arctic light, this creates a truly special season. There is a unique, raw beauty to it, and through this collection, Sunniva expresses a femininity that is strong in both form and character.

Sunniva Juhls was born and raised in Kautokeino and is a second-generation silversmith at Juhls Sølvsmie. Today, she runs the workshop, carrying its distinctive character and spirit forward with a clear vision. With humility and dedication, she strives to preserve its heritage, history and craftsmanship.

Juhls Sølvsmie has been based in Kautokeino, on the Finnmark plateau in northern Norway, since 1959. It was the first silver jewellery workshop in Finnmark.

Driven by a genuine desire to create beautiful things and an unwavering passion for craftsmanship, the Juhls family has expressed its creativity through various forms of art and craft, with jewellery making always at the heart of their work.

Every piece of jewellery from Juhls Sølvsmie is handcrafted in their workshop in Kautokeino, Norway.
