The platter is treated with Osmo TopOil to prevent yellowing and protect the wood. It is food-safe, but we recommend using it only for dry foods.

Regular oiling is recommended to extend the life of the product. To maintain its original colour and finish, use the same oil. Neutral cooking oils, such as rapeseed or sunflower oil, are more affordable alternatives, although they may cause some yellowing. Avoid olive oil, as it can turn rancid over time.

The platter is turned from a single solid piece of wood without glue, making it more susceptible to warping.

Avoid washing with water whenever possible. Instead, wipe clean with a damp cloth. If washing with soap and water is necessary, wet the entire platter evenly and dry it immediately and thoroughly with a towel.
