The jug 02 was originally made in sterling silver in 1975 in a collaboration between Danish artist Henning Koppel and Georg Jensen's silversmithy in Copenhagen. For the first time, it is now being relaunched in stainless steel. The surface of the jug is hand-polished for several hours to achieve a mirror-like finish, and the design preserves the organic, sculptural forms that Koppel's iconic jugs are known for. Beautiful little jug from Georg Jensen, designed by Henning Koppel. Originally designed in silver in 1975, and now recreated in shiny stainless steel, it appears both functional and sculptural.
