Marimekko is a Finnish design house known around the world for its original prints and colours. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko was one of the world's first true lifestyle brands, combining fashion, bags and accessories with home interiors through timeless, sustainable and functional design. At the heart of Marimekko's design is its own textile printing factory in Helsinki, where bold patterns and colours come to life. Around one million metres of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
