Hand-shaped vase in grey stoneware clay.

The vase is glazed on the inside, making it watertight. However, we recommend placing felt pads or similar underneath the vase if you plan to keep water in it for extended periods.

Karin Amdal is a trained Art Director and holds a Master of Design and a Diploma of Ceramic Art. Having lived in New Zealand for many years, her aesthetic is strongly influenced by her upbringing in Norway. She works with simple forms and incorporates sand from both New Zealand and Norway into her pieces, creating subtle tones and textures on the surfaces. Each piece is individually handcrafted.
