Polar bear figurine in ash, designed by Arne Lindaas and made by Nils Barlund at PLUS' turning workshop/wood workshop. The figurine was produced in a limited series of approx. 300–400 copies in 1958–1959.

Each polar bear is handmade from that period and exists in a limited number. Slight variations in the wood and shape mean that no two are exactly alike.

Arne Lindaas was a designer, artisan, and visual artist who was extraordinarily versatile throughout his career. He designed glass, porcelain, textiles, illustrations, book covers, intarsia, souvenirs, stamps, toys, and much more.
