Rabarbra is a sculptural glass vase from Nedre Foss, designed by the Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll. Made from through-coloured glass, the vase combines an architectural expression with soft, organic forms.

The vase consists of two elements in contrasting colours, each shaped individually before being fused together while the glass is still hot. The result is a seamless whole with a distinctive character.

Its shape is reminiscent of a flower, with the upper, flat disc resting on the lower section like petals on a stem. The contrast between geometric lines and organic forms gives Rabarbra its unique expression.

A decorative vase that works equally well with flowers or as a sculptural object in its own right.

Nedre Foss was founded by the Norwegian design duo Anderssen & Voll in 2009. At the heart of Nedre Foss's design philosophy is the concept of the “Century Product” and what they refer to as functional sculpture.

This philosophy is based on creating objects designed to last for at least 100 years, where sculptural qualities and practical functionality are equally important aspects of the design.
