URÆD GMT is a watch built for precision and adventure, in inspired by it young Ålesunderen Ole Brude, who braved the storms of the North Atlantic in his self-built lifeboat URÆD in 1904. The journey from Ålesund to America became a symbol of courage, groundbreaking innovation and the dream of creating something greater.
The watch is powered by a Swiss Sellita SW 330-2 movement, which provides reliable operation and the GMT function allows you to track two time zones simultaneously. An impressive 56-hour power reserve ensures that the watch will keep time, even if you put it away for a couple of days.
The clockwork is river-borne, but can also can be manually raised if desired. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), which provides a precise and smooth second hand. To reduce friction and ensure long life, the movement is constructed with 25 jewels.
Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 ensures optimal readability in the dark. Scratch-free sapphire crystal, 10 ATM water resistance and a workhorse of a solid movement – this watch is always ready for your next adventure.
