Evig 01 Serving Tray Oak w/Mother of Pearl

Kr 3.000

A serving tray handmade from reclaimed, knot-free oak, with a history that lives on. The wood comes from a floor that was taken up during a house renovation, and has been given new life through careful craftsmanship.

The marks in the wood – marks of time, use and life – are not hidden but highlighted. Nail holes and other impressions are filled with mother-of-pearl, which adds a subtle sheen and makes each board unique.

The serving tray is perfect for when you have friends over, for serving a good cup of coffee, or for a delicious breakfast in bed.

The board is designed and produced by hand in Oslo, and bears the hallmarks of both the origin of the material and the work of the craftsman.

Everything has been something before, everything can be something again. eternal gives new life to the old and used. In a time when things are thrown away before they have a chance to make a mark, eternal brings out what still has power in it.
