Iittala

Iittala is a Finnish brand with roots dating back to 1881 when a glass factory was established in a village of the same name in southern Finland. Iittala's design values ​​are based on the progressive philosophy of its design pioneers. Aino and Alvar Aalto were associated with Iittala from the beginning and wanted, among other things, to "liberate" glass from geometric shapes and create an impression of organic, living forms. They believed that objects should be essential, beautiful, useful and accessible to everyone. Every vase and bird from Iittala is mouth blown in their glass factory in Finland.
