Hand-shaped vase in black stoneware.

The vase is glazed on the inside, making it watertight. However, we recommend placing felt pads or similar underneath the vase if you plan to keep it filled with water for longer periods.

Karin Amdal studied Art Direction and holds a Master of Design and a Diploma of Ceramic Art. She lived in New Zealand for many years but grew up in Norway, and both places have strongly influenced her aesthetic. She works with simple forms and draws inspiration from both New Zealand and Norway, creating subtle variations in tone and texture across the surface. Each piece is made by hand.
