In all ages, man has been surrounded by things that are said to have more power than ordinary things. A rare stone, a sculptural piece of bone, a beautiful icon. For Kosta Boda, Bertil has created something similar. He calls the collection Companion . The faces have different colors and three different messages: Yes. Hope. Promise.

The sculptures are made of recycled glass and the color may therefore be different for each head. The head has a wall mount on the back, so it can easily be hung on the wall.

Kosta Boda is one of the world's leading brands in glassblowing and glass art. Their ovens and glass huts in Småland have been in use since 1742 and today several well-known designers work in their studios around Kosta and in close collaboration with the craftsmen. In close dialogue, they explore and challenge traditional techniques and develop new techniques in the cabins when designs and ideas are to be realised.
