Koppel Jug 0.75 L

Kr 2,480

A beautiful jug and one of Georg Jensen's most iconic designs. The slender and elegant jug was designed by the legendary designer Henning Koppel and first created in 1952. Its understated, sculptural form features an elegantly elongated handle and a distinctive spout.

This jug is the smaller version of the original 1.9 L HK Jug. With a capacity of 0.75 L, it is equally suited for serving water, as a vase or as an elegant wine carafe.

Of all the designers who have worked with Georg Jensen over the years, Henning Koppel was one of the most renowned. His designs played an important and influential role in shaping the Georg Jensen brand, particularly during the second half of the 20th century. Originally trained as a sculptor, Koppel later turned his attention to jewellery, hollowware and cutlery.

With a history spanning more than 100 years, Georg Jensen represents exceptional craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design, ranging from small silverware items to watches, jewellery and home accessories.

Georg Jensen's philosophy was to create democratic design that combined functionality with beauty. His craftsmanship and artistic talent, together with his ability to recognise and support emerging design talent, formed the foundation of the Georg Jensen company, which he established in Copenhagen in 1904.
