Kassett Blanket

Kassett is designed by Skogstad & Wærnes. The blanket is woven from Norwegian lamb's wool, and the design began as an exploration of structure, architecture, construction, and systems. The color palette is based on analogous and split-complementary color relationships, creating subtle variations in rhythm, depth, and contrast throughout the blanket. The contrasting edge stitching frames the blanket and gives Kassett its characteristic graphic expression. The result is a modern Norwegian wool blanket where color, construction, and material come together in a clear and expressive design.

With roots dating back to the 18th century, Røros Tweed produces wool blankets of fantastic quality in their factory located 600 meters above sea level. The large factory started in 1952, and before that, many of the products were made in the homes of Røros residents. Since then, Røros Tweed has experimented with Norwegian wool and developed high-quality textile products with good design. They have collaborated with several Norwegian designers to create a modern design that continues to be inspired by Røros' aesthetic and cultural heritage.

Remember that wool can be aired many times before washing. Stains can be removed with a little water and soap. When washing the blanket, it can be hand-washed at 30°C with a mild soap, gently squeeze out the water and let the blanket dry flat. Follow the instructions on the product.
