Brown
Braun's history stretches back 90 years when mechanic and engineer Max Braun (1890-1951) established the brand as a workshop for building machines. Right from the beginning, Braun distinguished itself with progressive ideas, innovative product solutions and the use of the latest technological developments. In 1929, Braun entered the radio industry, and when Max Braun's sons, Arthur and Erwin, took over the business, they took the company in a new direction. With the help of a number of skilled designers, the Braun brothers expanded the range and raised Braun to become a design icon. In the mid-1950s, Braun and product designer Dieter Rams introduced modern industrial design to the general public. Braun began producing a range of everyday products such as kitchenware, clocks and alarm clocks characterized by the same good quality Braun had always delivered.
