There may not be many crocodiles in Norway, but Crocodile John feels right at home on the Glomma River. It is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy a moment of peace. I met him there last year. “See you later, alligator!” he said, before settling onto a piece of driftwood and floating peacefully away.

The half blanket is a smaller, versatile size, perfect for keeping your legs warm without the bulk of a full-sized blanket.

With roots dating back to the 18th century, Røros Tweed has a long tradition of working with Norwegian wool and textile production. The factory in Røros, located 600 metres above sea level, opened in 1952. Before then, much of the production took place in the homes of local craftspeople.

Over the years, Røros Tweed has continued to explore the qualities of Norwegian wool, creating textiles where quality, function and thoughtful design are central. Through collaborations with Norwegian designers, they combine contemporary expressions with the distinctive aesthetic and cultural heritage of Røros.

Remember that wool can be aired several times before it needs washing. Stains can often be removed with a little water and mild soap. When washing the blanket, hand wash at 30°C using a mild detergent. Gently press out excess water and leave the blanket to dry flat. Always follow the care instructions on the product.
