The small Oiva plate is made of white stoneware and decorated with Marimekko’s atmospheric Ketunmarja pattern, designed by Aino-Maija Metsola. The motif depicts foxes in a garden at dusk, surrounded by small birds in a yew tree.

Marimekko is a Finnish design house recognised worldwide for its original prints and colours. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko was one of the world’s first true lifestyle brands, combining fashion, bags and accessories with home interiors in timeless, sustainable and functional designs.

At the heart of Marimekko’s design is its own textile printing factory in Helsinki, where the bold patterns and colours come to life. Around one million metres of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
