Marimekko is a Finnish design house recognised around the world for its distinctive prints and bold use of colour. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko was one of the world’s first true lifestyle brands, bringing together fashion, bags and accessories, and home interiors through timeless, functional design.

At the heart of Marimekko’s design is its own textile printing factory in Helsinki, where the brand’s iconic patterns and colours come to life. Around one million metres of fabric are printed at the factory each year.
